I am a researcher in Brazil. My background is Agronomic Engineering and Biology.

What is your area of expertise?

My main area of expertise is mitigation strategies for methane emissions of cattle.

Where does your focus lie within your current project(s)? (related to methane)

Nutritional strategies and sustainable intensification of production systems.

What would be the added value for you of joining an international researchers network? (such as the METHAGENE network, or the RuminOmics project)

Aggregate more knowledge on our local team to evaluate rumen microorganisms.

What and/or who inspired you to make a career in science?

Since very young that was my dream, inspired by the constant challenge.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Like a good whisky, we get better with aging.

What is your most stand-out or surprising moment in science so far?

Nothing special, still waiting for it.
