Feed evaluation, nutrition, physiology, feeding of cattle, methane measurements.
Where does your focus lie within your current project(s)? (related to methane)
That the methane values that the animal breeders use for there calculations and selection are meaningful and represent what they think.
What would be the added value for you of joining an international researchers network? (such as the
METHAGENE network)
The same as a presentation or an article. That people learn about what research we do.
What and/or who inspired you to make a career in science?
The earlier professor in Cattle Feeding and Breeding.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The freedom to investigate what I think is important and what I find interesting.
What is your most stand-out or surprising moment in science so far?
To introduce intestinal fistulated cows in Denmark. Making a new protein evaluation system. Develop CO2 method as breath marker.
Collaborate with developing countries. Collaborate with industry.
