Where does your focus lie within your current project(s)? (related to methane)
Feed and nutrition in relation to methane emissions from animals.
What would be the added value for you of joining an international researchers network? (such as the
METHAGENE network)
Opportunity to get access to first-hand information and to get known as a potential partner in multinational projects.
What and/or who inspired you to make a career in science?
I found science fascinating during my studies of agricultural sciences.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The unexpected realisation of developments when letting the results of experiments emerge from their nutshell during writing of scientific articles.
What is your most stand-out or surprising moment in science so far?
In the late 90ies, i.e. the time when it turned out that methane emissions could be suppressed down to 30% of initial by feeding coconut oil.
