Tell us about yourself (Who are you? Where are you from? What is your educational background?)
I am an early career researcher working at the Veterinary and Animal Science group at SRUC. Although I am originally
from Barcelona (Catalonia), soon after the completion of my PhD at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and IRTA, I moved first to
Warwick University (England) and then to SRUC (Scotland).
What is your area of expertise?
Associations between animal behaviour and stress physiology with methane emissions and climate change mitigation.
Where does your focus lie within your current project(s)? (related to methane)
My current project lies on understanding the contribution of cattle behaviour to variations in feed efficiency and greenhouse

What would be the added value for you of joining an international researchers network? (such as the
METHAGENE network)
I believe that meeting researchers with similar interests that helps in the creation of a research network is the stronger
