Possibilities for reducing emissions from cattle farming

In 2016 the EIP-AGRI Focus Group on “reducing emissions from cattle farming” was formed with 20 experts, of which several members of the METHAGENE consortium. They explored possibilities for mitigating emissions of methane and ammonia from cattle - and their cost effectiveness. These experts worked on describing mitigation measures, identifying success and fail-factors and finding areas where research, development and knowledge-transfer is required.
